Basketball never stops.
@WojYahooNBA is reporting this: that Boston would receive DeAndre Jordan and two first-round picks; Donald Sterling is willing to pay Rivers at or near his current salary, and that Garnett is in for the idea of reuniting with Rivers and assistant Clippers coach Ty Lue; the Clippers are reaching out to Chris Paul for assurance that he will resign with L.A..
The potential stumbling block is that Danny Ainge wants the trade to include Eric Bledsoe. And who knows what that would mean, long term, for Rajon Rondo.

He’s (Knicks president Donnie Walsh) the master,” the executive said. “I’ll put it this way: If there’s any way to get something done that he feels good about, he’ll get it done. He’ll leave no stone unturned.

Fanhouse blogger Matt Moore on the latest Carmelo trade rumor.
Denver was furnished with a short list of teams and told to get to work. Yes, this how William Wesley and Leon Rose of CAA work now, thick with threats and ultimatums and a swagger suggesting that the sport belongs to them. After Anthony told owner-in-waiting Josh Kroenke that he still wanted out of Denver during a Sunday meeting, the Nuggets appear done trying to sell their All-Star forward on a contract extension.
