ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith Explains Kobe’s Take on Trayvon Martin

“And I don’t have a problem with that,” Smith continued, “Me, personally, I definitely think that he was right on point with that. I know a lot of black people are gonna be upset about that…”

“And are upset,” Arsenio jumped in. “Black Twitter went crazy…”

“When I give a damn, I’ll let you know,” Smith shot back, drawing some gasps in the crowd.

I guess ESPN is slightly less than 100% terrible.

He also said this after Rob Parker called RGIII a “cornball brother:”

Stephen A. Smith came on directly after Parker and appeared as the voice of reason, saying “I’m uncomfortable with where we just went. RGIII, the ethnicity, the color of his fiance is none of our business, it’s irrelevant, he can live his life any way he chooses… I don’t judge someone’s blackness based on those types of things.”

Stephen A Smith also nailing it.
