The Black Mamba (Dir. Robert Rodriguez) - Trailer #2

(Now with 100% more Kanye!)

**Trailer #1

Clyde eventually ditched his red ROOS and joined the likes of Scottie Pippen and John Stockton in endorsing AVIAs. But on the real, if my kicks had some kind of Tesla Death Ray that caused mayhem and giant explosions I too would jump ship. I mean who the hell needs pockets in your shoes anyways? Oh wait a minute, on hindsight I’m surprised Mike Beasley wasn’t a ROOS guy. Amirite?

Rare sneakers: Clyde Drexler Kangaroo’s
Need some sneakers to match your 90’s Portland Trailblazers/Clyde Drexler tees? Well what better than a pair of game-worn ROOS from The Glyde himself. Vastly overshadowed by the Air Jordans, Clyde’s red and white kangaroo joints with the velcro strap are quite the rarity in both the shoe game as well as the NBA world. I mean what basketball player wears ROOS, honestly?
Sadly, the only place I’ve been able to find these, auctioned them off for $759.00, and that was roughly 3 years ago. A similar model, the Sky Walker’s, have turned up in Scandinavia, but are a pale comparison to OG Drexler’s. Nevertheless, this particular shoe holds a special place in the echelon of basketball sneakers somewhere above Karl Malone’s LA Gear’s and below Patrick Ewing’s Rogues.

Ray Allen uses Twitter to give away old shoes

bballrumor:

Ray Allen dropped off this shoe box with the Sugar Ray Nikes next to a creek in NY….Twitter is another bridge between nba player and fans.

If only Michael Jordan did this with his fans…
