Can’t get enough of Shaq’s, “Birdman, Birdman. Birdman, Birdman.”

I didn’t come up with Superman, I won’t get upset.
— Dwight Howard, graciously acknowledging Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, after Chris Duhon called Metta World Peace “Superman.” Shaq is still considering legal action against Duhon, however.
Dr. Dre watches Shaq’s jersey retirement ceremony at the Staples Center. Looks like Dre just got back from filming his new video, “Forgot About Cardio.”

Lakers to retire Shaq’s #34 next season.
Good to see the Buss family, who are always classy, and Shaq both taking the high road. No matter how you slice it, this it great for the NBA.

Lakers to retire Shaq’s 34 next season.
O’Neal will be the eighth player in Lakers franchise history to have his jersey retired, joining Wilt Chamberlain (No. 13), Elgin Baylor (No. 22), Gail Goodrich (No. 25), Magic Johnson (No. 32), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (No. 33), James Worthy (No. 42) and Jerry West (No. 44).
In the eight seasons he spent in Los Angeles from 1996-2004, the Lakers made the Finals four times, winning three championships, and O’Neal led the league in scoring while being named regular season MVP in 1999-00.

TNT needs to hire Mitch Kupchak so he can get rid of Shaq again. He’s been horrible on Inside The NBA.
