I just want to make sure I’m Glen Davis wherever I’m at. I think I can be Glen Davis wherever. It just depends on the system, the people around the system, who’s going to let Glen Davis be Glen Davis, not make Glen Davis something they think he should be.’’
— Yup, you guessed it, the above qoute is from Glen Davis. It isn’t easy to speak in the third person, but Glen Davis pulls it off three times in that last sentence alone. Bravo, Glenn Davis. Keep being Glen Davis, because no one does Glen Davis quite like Glen Davis.

THIS JUST IN: Glen “Big Baby” Davis co-wrote a book!  For little ones!
Here’s the actual cover, but I decided he looked a bit too Don Cheadle-y.  If you’re going to educate kids on the topic you know best — how to be a Professional Child (for a modest $14.95!) — at least try and be more straightforward through illustration.*

*This is absolutely not a jab at the artist or her work, but you can’t deny that Davis looked at the cover art before it went to print and smiled at his curiously svelte neck.

I can’t get enough of Glen Davis. I love that efficient engine he has, the manic energy, even the genuinely off-putting Hannibel Lecter-channeling lip licks. He seems like a truly annoying man to play against, like a playful Sasha Vujacic with actual basketball ability. And his timing is superb; how else to explain his ability to wrench down rebounds and pick up loose balls?
Just one thing: can we put a stop to commentators ending every sentence regarding Davis with ‘…for a man of that size’? Yes, he’s surprisingly athletic. We get it.
