NBA Logo Playoffs - Final Four

Our second matchup of the Final Four could end up being the best matchup of the entire tournament, as two overwhelming favorites square off.

Will it be the Supersonics, fresh and classic?

Will it be the Bulls, unchanged from 1966?

And then there were four.

Who ya got?

NBA Logo Playoffs - Elite Eight

We’re really getting down to it, and we’ve got one more nifty matchup for you from the Elite Eight round.

First up we’ve got the Knicks logo from ‘95, which has possibly had the most difficult tournament path of any contender (another classic Knicks logo and a sweet Rockets logo). We also have the Supersonics logo from ‘75, one of the favorites to win the entire tourney.

Hey nbaoffseason, this one’s even more surreal.

Is this an episode of Fringe?

These two have come a long way. (Sidenote: really really miss the Sonics)

NBA Logo Playoffs - Round 1

Today we will wrap up the first round of the 2011 NBA Logo Playoffs!

I really like the matchups today. We’ve got very old school Clippers (from San Diego) taking on a cool color scheme from the Jazz. And we’ve got our final same-team matchup, with two amazing Seattle logos (God rest their souls).

Get voting! (And if you click the Clippers logo, you can see it without all the black, I don’t know why it did that).

NBA Playoffs Throwback: Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Seattle Supersonics, 1994 Western Conference First Round. Oh hey, look at that, George Karl.

David Stern and the NBA just bought the New Orleans Hornets from George Shinn’s ownership group.
We ALL know what’s coming next… The Seattle SuperHornets!

PRESENTING: OFFICIAL NBA-OFFSEASON MERCH!
For all the hoops nerds out there, we have decided to launch an official storefront (powered by Spreadshirt) featuring our original designs.
Our first tee is an homage to a fallen NBA franchise (and also one of my favorite teams growing up), as well as one of the sport’s all-time classic logos. This one’s for you: bitter Sonics fan. Now you can support OKC (which after their playoff performance and with Durant being the future of the NBA, how can you not?) while still holdin it down for Detlef, Gary, and Shawn. Even comes in the classic green/yellow for all you Sonicsgaters.
Special shoutout to twoeightnine for the inspiration.
