Never forget.

As a general rule, we should be using OMD in more basketball video clips

Do you see it? It’s happening already. Everyone paying attention to LeBron meanwhile Ray Allen is wide open.

We all felt it on the bench. It seemed like that 3 minutes lasted forever. It was special. I’ll talk about that forever, just knowing being down 20 and these people are still standing up, cheering us on, because they know we just have to win one game.
— Ray Allen on fans chanting “Let’s go Celtics” in the waning moments of Game 6, setting up some interesting side theater heading into an already epic Game 7.
KG: “Okay kids, y’all got to do 100 of these shits”
Quis: “Great form, B”
Ray: “My form is better”
Keyon: “I can’t believe I’m on this team!”
Rondo: “But can you do that with roller skates on?”
KG: “Soon as I’m done with these, I’m going to eat all you m**** f****’ children”

We’re going to just keep rolling him out there and see what we can get. When we feel like he can’t give it to us, we’ll go with someone else. But I think right now, you have to give Ray a fighting chance.

Doc Rivers, on playing Ray Allen tonight

Allen is still dealing with a sore right ankle

I didn’t even ask [about Allen’s health], honestly. We didn’t do much yesterday anyway. We’ll do the same thing — we make two plans and if he’s ready to play, we’ll play him; if he’s not, we’ll go the other direction.

ESPN Boston’s Chris Forsberg reports that Rivers will likely move Avery Bradley to the point and start Mickael Pietrus at the two, but will run the offense through Paul Pierce.

Ray Allen is still very great at basketball.

Ray Allen’s reaction to Garnett had me rolling on the floor for a good minute.

Kevin Garnett just needs to cool down during a game sometimes and doesn’t care whether you’re in the crossfire. No word on where the loogie landed.

Paul Pierce and Ray Allen can’t miss, Knicks can’t defend.

No, that’s not a video of shootaround after a Celtics practice session. That’s in a playoff game. Not just any playoff game, the first Knicks home game since 2004 and that’s how the Knicks rewarded their faithful fans.

Sure, Ray Allen is the all-time 3-point leader who is also shooting 45% from deep. And sure, Paul Pierce is a serial killer who is tops among active players with 30+ point games at MSG. But this was inexcusable.

This defensive performance by the Knicks was beyond lethargic. Ray and Paul combined for 70 points on 25 of 37 shooting. They also combined for 14 of 19 from three.

It’s nights like this that make me think O‘Antoni needs to go.
