#TBT The Miracle Minute

(And Yes, That Is Lil’ Dunleavy)

Rasheed Wallace gifsets are the best gifsets

Are you sad about the end of the basketball season? Then please enjoy this clip of Elton Brand kicking the ball off of Mike Dunleavy, Junior’s face, at Steve Nash’s annual soccer game in Chinatown. It’s like Euro 2012, only people actually scored goals in regulation.

There’s been no confirmation that Brand yelled, “That one’s for your old man!” afterward, but we are pretty sure he was at least thinking it.

When HBO gave us this sneak peak of the upcoming season of Game of Thrones we were quite surprised. I mean what do basketball and Game of Thrones have in common other than Nikola Pekovic’s will over dragons?
But in this scene Lord Dunleavy (of House of Dunleavy) ponders whether or not the hot dog he ordered will ever come. Or might it be the blasted Lannisters, again? He should have never let them cross that bridge into Milwaukee.

“I don’t know how many threes he hit in a row, but it was like the old NBA Jam.”
That was Ty Lawson on Mike Dunleavy’s 24-point third quarter, which featured five Dunleavy three-pointers and 54 Indiana points. The Pacers were perfect from the field until “team fire” wore off with 1.9 seconds remaining in the quarter, and Josh McRoberts, thrown off by the loss of unlimited turbo, missed a three-pointer.
