Michael Jordan and I were playing dice one night at a very trendy bar in Lower Manhattan, and I was losing a little bit… He said, ‘Baby, if I win, you come with me to my hotel room. But if you win, you can have Nets tickets.’
A lot of things happened in the 90’s — Planet Hollywoods, Tae Bo workouts, Kevin Smith — but according to 90’s MTV VJ Kennedy one thing that did not happen was 90’s MTV VJ Kennedy losing her virginity to Michael Jordan.

"Finishing at the rim" is one of those aspects of basketball that sounds simpler than it is, particularly in professional basketball. You are supposed to make layups, right? Never mind the degree of difficulty. It’s a layup!

It especially goes appreciated in todays game where we can more completely quantify the effect it has on a game using advanced stats and analysis.

Via Ball Don’t Lie, here is a collection of Michael Jordan rim attacks called “Michael Jordan-The Rim Attack.” Pretty self-explanatory. Not that Michael Jordan going hard to the rim needs much explanation. Guess what? He was really really good at it.

The most breathtaking part about watching these clips all strung-together was his ability to finish with so much variety. Dunks, floaters, finger rolls, flip shots, over the back flip shots, layups, reverse layups, inside-out moves, spins, post ups, hook shots… You get the point. More moves than Michael Jordan’s suits have leg room.
