Marc Gasol puts the MOVES on Kendrick Perkins. Damn son.
Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Reggie Jackson has a pretty great Twitter avatar.

I’m the same Perk you’re going to see. I’m still going to sign autographs the same way. I ain’t going to change. The people that move out the way and stuff are the people who have insecurity problems. That’s my job. How will my teammates look at me if next time I just back out the way and just let him dunk when I’m supposed to be defensive-minded, a shot-blocker? That would be a coward move on me. He’d just have to dunk on me again.”
Kendrick Perkins opens up a bit to Yahoo’s Marc J. Spears about life after the Blake Griffin dunk. Perks will continue to put his pants on one leg at a time and will continue to play hard for the Thunder.
Later on in the article, Perkins takes a shot about LeBron James’ nice guy attitude. It’s a great read.
In case you haven’t had enough of the dunk of the year.

Griffin’s dunk on Perk in real time. I assure you, no video or audio special efx were used.

All this talk about Lamar being back in L.A. tonight. Let’s not forget that Kendrick is back in bean town.
Kendrick Perkins doesn’t care much for Chris Webber’s ring-less opinions.
EDIT: Here’s what CWebb said about Perk: http://youtu.be/s4qvrNJoQwc starting at 1:35.
EDIT numero dos: I guess that video, which was from a month ago, was the first shot C-Webb took at Perk. The second came tonight, when Chris called Perk an overrated post-defender. I’d like to thank James Herbert from HoopSpeak for the heads up.
In short, Webber doesn’t think Perk is a good fit in OKC and it’s because in Webb’s personal opinion he doesn’t think Kendrick is a good 1-on-1 defender. That’s one I as well as most writers don’t share.
I know last year I wrote that Ainge made the right move in moving Perkins, but it had more to do with how much impact he could have on that season and questions surrounding his free agency. Boston had to win now, not build for the future. Perkins is a center you lock up for the future and OKC was both blessed and smart enough to do so.
This is not a friendly conversation:
They are not talking about pies, or iPad apps, or Sarah Vowell books, or cool bars, or hipsters, or yoga mats, or Bronx Zoo Cobra tweets, or The Awl, or organic ice cream, or Dwayne’s friend ReRun, or things Chuck Klosterman talks about, or Leno on Letterman, or Lili Taylor, or pies.
They are talking about grease, and spit, and Tucker Max books, and ice roads, and rent, and Sucker Punch, and Harry Levin, and Libya, and too much internet, and Franco on The Oscars, and Black Eyed Peas at the Super Bowl, and sexism, and Deadwood being canceled.
See you soon, playoffs!

Dwyane Wade dunks Perk. Entire city of Miami gives birth to twins.
