When we talk about Da Bulls, we tend to talk about Derrick Rose, but we need to talk about Joakim Noah. 15 rebounds (8 on the offensive end) and 5 blocks. That’s controlled chaos. That’s the power of the hair bun.

Joakim Noah is ecstatic right now. Why? Because he just inked a 5-year/$60 million extension with the Bulls.
That can buy a lot of vacations, water pipes and Le Coq Sportifs. I’m very happy for Noah because I know that those are his three most favoritest things in the world.
All of this comes after a very turbulent off-season in which we saw Noah not getting his extension then being traded for Bosh/LeBron/Wade then not getting any extension again and again being trade bate for Denver in exchange for Carmelo. Noah played it real cool all summer (take notes, LeBron) and finally got paid.
You can argue about this being a steal or a rip-off for the Bulls or just read what Kelly has to say about it over on BDL. Personally, I think Noah is the Bulls best player and most important piece.  Anytime you can lock up your best player at $12 million a year, you go ahead and do it.
Congrats, Joakim and Chicago!

Noah and Chris Andersen would be on the same team, resulting in the apocalypse. Let’s all pray it doesn’t come to that.

“Coach man, we should legalize it.”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, politically.”
“Coach man, c’mon. Legalize it!”
“How many ti-I’m not your coach. I’m the President.”
“420, Mr. P. 420 4 life!”
“Yo, Bizzy Bone. See this? It’s my hand. Don’t make it be a fist.

The 2010 Free Agent Bonanza isn’t quite over yet, but it’s never to early to look ahead to the 2011 madness that might ensue. Check out SI for the full story.
Possible invitees to next year’s summits include:
- Carmelo Anthony- Tim Duncan- le Tony Parker- Joakim Noah- Yao Ming (if he doesn’t retire first)
I don’t know about y’all but I only care about where Zach Randolph ends up.

Little Joakim Noah
ED. NOTE: Don’t you wish it was the Bulls playing the Celtics right now? Seems like Noah would add like 10x the intensity plus Rondo/Rose would be epic in and of itself. Also: REMEMBER THIS???
