Another day, another Lakers rumor of sorts.
Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Los Angeles Lakers have expressed an interest in trading for Cleveland Cavaliers back up point guard Ramon Sessions.
As we all know by now, the Lakers’ point guard options look fairly glum right now. Derek Fisher, while he may hit the occasional big shot, isn’t going to turn back the clock, Steve Blake is still on the injured list and rookies Darius Morris & Andrew Goudelock have been sporadically effective when given time off the bench. It only makes sense to find a temporary solution to keep up with the glut of speedy point guards in the Western Conference.
A deal for Sessions makes sense for the Lakers and could be affective use of the Lamar Odom trade exception, but you never quite know with this current Lakers regime. With Orlando’s current landslide and the Nets playing like, well, the Nets, maybe Mitch Kupchak could pull off a mega deal landing Dwight Howard and Deron Williams.
Despite the optical illustion, Boston center Dave Cowens is not standing on the scorer’s table but rather jumping up and down in front of it, trying to block an inbounds pass during a 1976 Celtics-Cavs game. (AP)

Another solid vet looking to join the NWO Heat.
He averaged 7 points, 5 rebounds, and a block a game last year, while playing about 20 mins a game.
The Heat are now linked in varying degrees of interest—a couple probably have agreements already while other will use Heat as leverage to sign for more $$ elsewhere— to the follwoing players to round out their roster:
Honestly, Mike Brown, I had the exact same reaction.
Interesting read about Delonte West’s ups and downs with the Cavs.
From the article:
Pic is a comedy about five guys from different backgrounds who come to Vegas to live out their fantasy by attending the LeBron James Adult Basketball Camp. While it should be enough that these dreamers get to breathe the same oxygen as their hero, the campers drag James into their various life issues, ranging from serious to idiotic.
The film will be produced by Brian Grazer and hopefully will begin production next summer.
Fingers crossed that one of the five guys will be Zach Galifianakis and they will engage in some wacky Vegas related hi-jinxs as well as some other wacky ballers like Delonte West.
