Trevor Ariza ~~hits the game-winner~~ airballs a last-second attempt against the Pistons, completely fooling the Wizards announcers, who are forced to rescind a “Dagger!” proclamation for the first time ever. You can’t blame the broadcasters, who had a tough angle, or Ariza, who was forced to put up his shot while harassed by noted lockdown defender Kyle Singler. Sometimes “Nothing but net” can be very deceptive.
