Dear Basketball Gods,
Please do not let the Los Angeles Clippers get the first pick in the draft this year or any real high draft pick. Basically, the Clippers should not be allowed to draft John Wall. Granted, the Clipper organization did nothing that led to Blake Griffin’s epic, major bummer party of a season injury, but their owner Donald Sterling is a bigger dick than Mike “The Situation” from “Jersey Shore” and has cursed his franchise. I do believe the great zen master of the hardwood, Phil Jackson said something about karma and Sterling in relation to Griffin’s injury. So, I ask you guys on the behalf of all hoops blogs bros out there, let John Wall find a good home to develop his pro game and become a star.
Also, Basketball Gods, could you guys please find a way to fix the playoff system in the NBA. I’m personally sick of seeing teams with below 500 records from the Eastern Conference sneak into the playoffs and get rolled over by the likes of Cavs and Celtics. Granted, the Bulls are getting their act together right now, but if the playoffs started today, they are in it along with the lowly Charlotte Bobcats and Toronto Raptors. Where as in the Western Conference, if things were to start today, the Memphis Grizzlies and OK City Thunder and New Orleans Hornets would be sitting at home with slightly above .500 records. So, I ask you, Basketball Gods, fix the system and import a solid Western Conference team into the lower rankings of the Eastern Conference playoff picture and stop making the playoffs a cake walk for the three to four good teams in the Eastern Conference. The Association can’t develop its next wave of stars without them getting into the playoffs. Kevin Durant should be a giant star, but he can’t be because his team missed the playoffs by a game or two but let’s just say, the Pistons who are four or fives games under 500 in a shitty conference get steam rolled by the Cavs. It’s not fun. Fix it.
