Norman Einstein’s ceased publication in February, 2011. However we didn’t want our work, some of which counts among my favorite sportswriting, to be forgotten. That’s why Norman Einstein’s prime mover Cian O’Day has created Normanthology, a collection of the best sportswriting and photography the magazine had to offer. Ben Birdsall, Eric Nusbaum, Fredorarrci and countless other writers whom I deeply admire and feel honored to be featured alongside are included in the anthology.
For some godforsaken reason, Cian actually felt it was worth it to feature two pieces of mine: Hard Foul and The Men With No Name.
In order for this excellent anthology to come into being, we need your help: Last week Cian launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the publication of the anthology. We’re not asking for much, so any amount you can contribute, no matter how small, would be a huge help. And like any Kickstarter campaign, every pledge comes with a gift from the magazine.
