No-longer-the-Cap’n Jack had a solid game, pouring in 20 points and hitting two of his four three-point attempts. The memorable part of his performance came when Jackson followed up a three-pointer by cupping his ear to the crowd, defiantly daring the crowd to boo harder. While you see this move fairly often in the NBA, you almost never see it when a guy is playing at home.
Open hostility between a team’s fans and its best player, just three games into the schedule? Just another reason why this is shaping up to be a season for the ages in Oakland.
