NBA Playoffs Throwback: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls, 1991 Eastern Conference semifinals Game 5.

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen combine for 66 points defeating Charles Barkley’s 76ers and ending the series 4-1. Chicago advances to defeat the Detroit Pistons and L.A. Lakers to win their first ever world championship. Along the way, Bulls announcer Johnny “Red” Kerr bestows them with the short-lived nickname Thunder & Lightning.

The 2012 match-up begins Game 1, Saturday 1pm EST on TNT!
