Last weekend was unusually eventful for NBA announcers. First off you had this awkward end of game tirade by New Jersey Nets play-by-play man Ian Eagle at his broadcast partner Mike Fratello for being patronizing about slip screens.

And then on Sunday afternoon during the Heat-Knicks game Jeff Van Gundy went OFF on flopping. It was a moment of heartfelt frustration from a guy who loves the game and wants to make the product better. Of course Mike Breen offered his best “dad in a Christmas sweater” rebuttal, but there was simply no stopping Van Gundy on this day.

Clear out and give the man his iso. Van Gundy is still hip hop
