The Candy Man turned down $36 M for four years, and $30 M for three. Lamar wants $50 M for five years. I’m no professional negotiator, but four years and $40 million seems like the obvious compromise. If I were a Laker fan - even one driving through the wilds of Central California - I wouldn’t sweat it.
