Obviously Kobe Bryant has put a premium on retaining the current Lakers line up, but one has to wonder with Carlos Boozer’s recent decision to stay with Jazz, will Lamar Odom’s stock rise?
Cleveland may or may not have been in the Boozer race may pursue Lamar Odom even harder than before since Odom, depending on how Mike Brown would use him, would be such a huge boost that to team; assuming Shaq doesn’t play in back to back games or coasts along the last two months of the regular season. Also with Odom, it’s a crap shoot….one night, you may get the sugar shock Lamar who just wants to mellow out or the Lamar we saw in the finals who just ripped through about twenty Snickers bars and four bags of M&Ms.
Now, if the Lakers only had a way to get Adam Morrison’s contract off the books, the Lakers would be sitting very pretty this off season.
