When Kevin Durant dropped the final 3 points of his game high 38 in a 89-74 victory over Lithuania in today’s semifinals round of the FIBA Basketball World Championship he turned around, popped the USA logo on his chest, saluted the contigent of U.S. fans in the building, and then started clapping.
We were all clapping.
